Students from School of International Languages won three silver prizes in the 2024 FLTRP·ETIC Cup “Understanding Contemporary China” Foreign Language Proficiency Competition for college students. The silver winners are respectively Xu Qiuling (Class of 2025) and Jiang Yinchen (Class of 2026) in international communication contest for English majors, and Tie Lingrui (Class of 2026) in translation contest for English majors..

The FLTRP·ETIC (English Test for International Communication)  Cup “Understanding Contemporary China” National English Test hosted by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP), is one of the most influential and authoritative events in the foreign language community. It is listed in the official Analysis Report of the National College Student Competition, and competed at university, provincial and national stages for contestants of English, multi languages and international Chinese respectively. The 2024 event attracted 700,000 participants from over 1,300 universities and colleges across China.
