Wellington Delegation Visits XMUT for Educational and Cultural Exchange

A delegation from Wellington, New Zealand visited XMUT on the morning of September 18th. The eight-member delegation included Ollie Wilson, Action Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Associate Dean Research at the College of Creative Arts, Massey University; Juan Cao, Director of China Engagement at Victoria University of Wellington; Tamahau Rowe, Iwi leader and Deputy Chief Executive Maori for the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand; and Fangmin Ye, Senior Education Officer at the New Zealand Consulate General in Guangzhou.

The Wellington City Education and Culture Delegation members had in-depth discussions with school heads of XMUT relevant. They explored joint thematic workshops, mutual credit recognition, short-term cross-cultural studies, and master's degree programs. Both sides expressed their commitment to promoting cooperation and enhancing exchange and mutual understanding between both sides in the humanities and arts to cultivate more students with international vision and multicultural literacy.
