On June 14, at the 2022 BRICS Innovation Base Construction and Development Forum, XMUT was officially selected as the second batch of members of "Xiamen BRICS New Industrial Capacity Enhancement Training Base Alliance".

The establishment of the Xiamen BRICS New Industrial Capacity Enhancement Training Base Alliance is a concrete practice of the "BRICS Innovation Base" to build a platform for exchanges and cooperation between BRICS universities and enterprises. The alliance promotes the partnership between professional teachers, logistics, support teams, equipped with sufficient training hardware and space resources, and finally achieves joint construction and sharing.

The membership is the phased achievement of XMUT in actively implementing the construction of BRICS Innovation base. Next, XMUT will continue to expand the BRICS industry-university-institute cooperation and establish a long-term mechanism with all the relevant partners.(Office of International Cooperation and Exchange)
