Environmental Design

Program Overview:This program focuses on environment-related design and is committed to helping graduates to acquire and use the fundamental theory of environment design and related knowledge, understand Chinese and Western cultural history, and understand the theory and knowledge of architectural culture, space, facilities, planning and design to grow into creative and versatile professionals for interior design, urban landscape and garden design as well as public art design.

Award:a four-year bachelor’s degree inFineArts

Hands-on Practice:course project, field trip, internship, graduation project.

Career Opportunities:Environmental Design graduates can get jobs in such sectors as urban planning, environmental design, landscape design, interior design or art education for design, planning, research or management, and they can pursue a master's degree in related fields.

Main Courses:Modeling Basics, Design Basics, Display Art, Photoshop, 3DMAX, Design Studies, Environmental Design Performance Techniques, Model Making, Furniture Design, History of Architecture, AutoCAD, Interior Design, Materials and Engineering, Landscape Design, and Urban Planning Principles.
