The School of Management
The School of Managementoffers three bachelor’s programs:Logistics Management, Information ManagementandInformation Systems, and Industrial Engineering.
Logistics Management is a specialty program of Fujian Province. In the past 30 years, the school has turned out thousands of graduates warmly accepted and into commercial, institutional and official places. Moreover, we have a professional, productive and promising faculty. We have 30-odd faculty and staff members. Some 60% of the facultyare professors or associate professors, and the more junior teachers are all of them either Master’s or Ph.D. degree holders and/or assistant professors, with several Ph.D. degrees awarded at American or Japanese universities. Our faculty also includes a number of famous professors from elite universities who are appointed adjunct professors with our school. They are active and productive in academic research, having completed dozens of research projects and published hundreds of research papers in recent years.
The School of Management’s courses focus on developing students' hands-on experience, entrepreneurial pursuits, and problem-solving competence. Our students have registered remarkable achievements in academic or professional competitions in recent years. In 2010, we achieved first and second prize at the National College English Contest and second prize in the National Mathematical Modelling Contest.We have alsoachieved first prize in the National College Students’ Logistics Design Competition, the National College Marketing Competition, and the National Undergraduate Network Business Innovation Competition in every year ever since 2011. Some students have their research results sold to businesses for financial profit or published in key journals in China. Graduates of the School of Management are warmed received due to their new thinking, fine quality and adaptiveness to the changing world. They perform well in further study and dozens are admitted to pursue master’s degree at elite universities in and out of China including Tsinghua University and Peking University. The employment rate of our graduates has been above 95% for years.
