Construction Management

Program overview:This program combines the disciplines of project management, engineering economics, civil engineering technology, and project budgeting. Practical consideration is given to issues of production, cost, control and supervision, issues of the real estate industry as well as investment and finance.

Why choose this program: The program emphasizes professional development to meet the demands of the local industries. Its two concentrations –Construction Cost and Construction Project Management – adapt to the need of the robust growth in the local area. We offer a course in Construction Contract Management and the XMUT Pilot Plan for Innovation &Talent, and our students have been champions for three successive years at the national Construction Calculation Competition, and first prize winner in the national Sand Table Simulation Contest. They have good career opportunities in construction cost consultants, construction supervision, construction projects, and real estate planning.
