International Scholars and Faculty International Development Scheme

XMUT recruits expert academics from around the world to come for short-term lecturing or for regular teaching and joint research. These internationally recognized academics and researchers bring an international perspective and cultural diversity through their experience which is applied to their teaching and research at XMUT.

The University has also established Faculty International Development Scheme with our overseas partner universities to support our academics’ overseas visits and research. The President’s Scholarship Program with University of Regina in Canada has been in operation for five years, benefiting more than 20 XMUT academics so far. The PhD Scholarship Program with Victoria University of Wellington provides excellent opportunities for XMUT faculty who are aspired to build up their education background and research profile.

Professor Robert Mundell, Nobel Prize Winner in Economics, gave lecture at XMUT.
