Adjunct Professors and Faculty International Development Scheme

XMUT recruits expert academics from around the world as Adjunct Professors. Acting as international mentors and teaching consultants, Adjunct Professors come for short-term lecturing, joint research, and graduate students’ co-mentorship. These internationally recognized academics and researchers bring an international perspective and cultural diversity through their experience that is applied to their teaching and research at XMUT.

The University has also established Faculty International Development Scheme with our overseas partner universities to support our academics' overseas visits and research. The President's Scholarship Program with University of Regina in Canada has been in operation for ten years, benefiting more than 20 XMUT academics so far. The PhD Scholarship Program with Victoria University of Wellington provides excellent opportunities for XMUT faculty who are aspired to build up their education background and research profile.
