XMUT Signs Cooperation Agreement with California Baptist University


Dr. Larry Linamen, Vice President at California Baptist University (CBU), visited XMUT on October 19 and met with President Dr.ZHU Wenzhang, as well as heads of International Office, School of Digital Arts & Communication, School of Civil Engineering & Architecture and Department of Physical Education of XMUT. Both parties have agreed to start cooperation in credit transfer and course introduction for students in civil engineering and digital media, exchanges of high-level sports teams and co-teaching of sport event management professionals, as well as aviation skills and English updating for students in flight service.
 
Founded in 1950, CBU has grown to become the fastest and best developed university and a top private comprehensive university in the western United States. It is a teaching university focused on enhancing students' employability and entrepreneurial ability. The University consists of 12 colleges and schools including College of Architecture, Visual Arts and Design, College of Arts and Science, College of Engineering, College of Health Science, College of Nursing, School of Business, School of Education, School of Music and others, and over 150 bachelor's degree programs and 40 master's degree programs. The College of Engineering is the only one of its kind the National Science Foundation has awarded a grant to for 20 years. Its programs in Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
